Read with Val

Read with Val is a BookTube channel that was established in Spring of 2020 at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, targeting to read 100 books and review each of them (in the form of short videos) during that summer. And I made it! Throughout the years, my book reviews continue and particularly I use this platform to explore diverse stories, celebrate underrepresented voices, and most importantly promote a reading culture amongst children.

Read with Val has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, YAYOMG! Girls Who Shine, and Owlcrate Junior magazine.

In addition, I had the honor to interview some of my favorite authors and mentors. It's been an absolute thrill to see the channel grow and connect with fellow book lovers. Together, let's discover captivating books that will inspire, entertain, and leave a lasting impact.
